Sejarah Singkat
- 1983 : Under the name of the DIY Province Transmigration Training Center operationally under the Regional Office of the Ministry of Transmigration Prov. DIY then changed to Kanwil Deptrans and PPH Prov. DIY.
- 1999 : In the era of regional autonomy as Law no. 22 of 1999, the provincial and district/city vertical agencies joined the local government.
- 2001 : Based on the Decree of the Minister of Manpower and Transmigration No. 137/MEN/2001 Balatrans Yogyakarta was designated as one of the UPTPs under the Indonesian Ministry of Manpower and Transmigration.
- 2006 : Regulation of the Minister of Manpower and Transmigration Number PER.16/MEN/VII/2007 amendment to the Regulation of the Minister of Manpower and Transmigration Number Per.06/MEN/III/2006, changed and increased its echelon from echelon III to echelon II with the name Yogyakarta Transmigration Training Center, which is domiciled and is directly responsible to the Directorate General of Binalattas with working areas covering DKI Jakarta, Banten, West Java, Central Java, DIY and East Java (6 Provinces).
- 2015 : Based on the Regulation of the Minister of Villages, PDT and Transmigration Number 9 of 2015 the hall was taken over from the Ministry of Manpower and Transmigration to the Ministry of Village with a new nomenclature, namely the Yogyakarta Community Training Center as UPTP under the Ministry of Villages, Development of Disadvantaged Regions, and Transmigration of the Republic of Indonesia with working areas covering DIY, Central Java and East Java (3 Provinces).
- 2020 : Based on the Regulation of the Minister of Villages, PDT and Transmigration Number 22 of 2020 concerning the Organization and Work Procedures of Technical Implementation Units within the Ministry of Villages, Development of Disadvantaged Regions, and Transmigration, the nomenclature changed to the Great Center for Training and Empowerment of Village Communities, Disadvantaged Regions, and Transmigration Yogyakarta with the working area covers DIY, Central Java and East Java (3 Provinces).
